I frankenstein’d this recipe and it took me a couple tries. I was inspired by the model and food influencer Pierce Abernathy. He’s got a wonderful vibe of living in NYC and going blueberry picking in Connecticut on the weekends then gleefully whisking away to model in Milan. LOL, ok…. he’s totally everyone’s goals and if you disagree you’re lying. I then found a middle eastern blogger who made a galette with berries, frangipane and sumac. I didn’t like everything she put together and it needed a something else. So, after many tries and classic dough recipe, here you have it!
Side note, I was lucky enough to live a slightly champagne life at a young age, dancing and touring quite young, I did not explore my creative brain to cook and bake food. Although, I always had a great palette (ask my mom) and I did eat my way through Europe.
